Dress Code: garden casual - The ceremony will be on the grass so please choose shoes accordingly. Our family will likely be in sundresses and button downs weather permitting, but you’re welcome to wear anything that makes you feel comfortable (including your reception garb if you’re so inclined). The wedding and brunch will be brief, festive and outdoors so dress accordingly.

We’ve decided to separate our ceremony and reception to allow our family some rest time in between the two events.
Hyatt Lost Pines has numerous on-site activities you can take advantage of that afternoon. These include: golf, skeet shooting, horseback riding, axe throwing, fishing, tennis, frisbee golf, corn hole, a lazy river, beach cruisers for biking, spa services and (as if that list isn’t long enough) more.

“Day Two”

A friend of a friend recently taught us about an Irish wedding tradition called “Day Two” - the casual little sibling to the formal wedding day.
While the wedding will be officially over as of Friday, we’ll be hosting some kind of very optional pool party or BBQ on Saturday. Our alma maters (Alabama and Mizzou) play each other in football, so this will likely include some kind of watch party. (The Mizzou alums will be gladly accepting Notre Dame grads to our side.) The NCAA hasn’t released the game time yet, so we’ll update the website as we learn more.
While we will likely stay on the property that day, you are more than welcome to leave to head home, move your hotel stay to downtown Austin, swim at Barton Springs, go into town to shop, eat, explore or do anything you’d like. We’re so grateful you’ve come to spend time with us, and encourage you to do what’s right for you for the rest of the weekend.
